Job summary

Michael Page is recruiting for a Qualified Accountant in Plymouth to deliver mixed accounts and tax services for a varied portfolio of clients, with the opportunity to progress within a growing firm of accountants.

You will manage year-end accounts, corporate and personal tax work, and broader advisory projects while developing client relationships; flexible hours (full or part-time) are offered to fit background.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA qualified with experience in accounts/tax and general accountancy practice delivery (UK)
• Experience delivering year-end accounts and tax within UK practice
• Experience servicing sole traders, partnerships and limited companies

Responsibilities

• Manage hands-on delivery and review of year-end accounts
• Provide tax and wider general practice services to a varied client portfolio
• Develop client relationships and take on increasing portfolio responsibility
• Contribute to wider advisory/business projects within the firm

Description

Joining as a Qualified Accountant based from the firms Plymouth offices you will manage the hands on delivery and review of year end accounts, tax and wider general accountancy practice services to a portfolio of clients across varied industries and turnover ranges. You will develop client relationships, taking on increasing client portfolio and management responsibility, working on wider advisory/business services and delivering wider project work as you develop and carve a career within this firm. A progression path is on offer and there is opportunity to carve an influential key role within this firm.

Profile

For this Qualified Accountant role you will be ACA / ACCA qualified with a career background within accounts/tax and all around, general accountancy practice service delivery to wide ranging sole trade, partnership and limited company clients, developed within a UK accountancy practice firm environment. You will have developed your career to the Senior or Manager levels and be looking for a challenging new career opportunity where you can progress and develop in a growing chartered firm of accountants.

Job Offer

£36000 - £42,000, dependent on the background experience and level of the right professional, plus benefits, negotiable.
