Job summary

Veritas Education is seeking a Qualified SEN Teacher to join our team on a full-time basis, covering ages 2-19 in Leeds and surrounding areas, including Harrogate. You will plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the National Curriculum and create an inclusive learning environment.

The role requires a QTS and experience with SEND; strong classroom management, excellent communication, and adaptability are essential to support a diverse range of needs across multiple age groups.

Qualifications

• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate learners.
• Excellent communication to build relationships with pupils, staff and parents.
• Proactive, positive and adaptable approach.
• Ability to plan, deliver and adapt learning to meet various needs and ages.
• Experience teaching learners with SEND (Autism, Asperger's, Down syndrome, speech, sensory and communication needs).
