Are you a passionate and dedicated Qualified Science Teacher looking for an exciting new opportunity from October 2026?

Teaching Personnel are working with a welcoming secondary school in Walsall who are looking for an enthusiastic Science Teacher to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about Science and wants to make a real difference to the learning and development of young people.

As a Science Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring Science lessons across KS3 and KS4, helping students develop both their subject knowledge and confidence.

You will be joining a supportive school environment where you will have the opportunity to build positive relationships with students and staff while contributing to a strong learning culture.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Planning and delivering engaging Science lessons
• Teaching Science across KS3 and KS4
• Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Supporting students to reach their full academic potential
• Assessing and monitoring student progress
• Working collaboratively with colleagues and the wider school team
• Maintaining high expectations of behaviour and achievement

The school is looking for a qualified Science Teacher who is enthusiastic, reliable and passionate about education.

You will ideally have:

• QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification
• Experience teaching Science within a secondary school
• Strong subject knowledge across Science
• Experience teaching KS3 and KS4
• Excellent classroom management skills
• A passion for supporting students and helping them succeed
• The ability to build strong relationships with students and staff
• A positive and professional approach
• An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for a new one
