Teach with Purpose
A secondary school in Brent is seeking a passionate Humanities Teacher to teach History, Geography, or Religious Studies across KS3 and KS4. Whether you're experienced or an ECT, this is a chance to join a dedicated team committed to critical thinking, discussion, and real-world relevance.

The Role
You will teach one or more humanities subjects, helping students develop analytical and empathetic understanding. The school promotes curiosity, debate, and historical awareness.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver humanities lessons

  • Teach across KS3-KS4

  • Prepare students for exams and assessments

  • Mark, track progress, and provide feedback

  • Adapt lessons to support different learning needs

Essential Requirements:

  • UK QTS and degree in a humanities subject

  • Strong subject knowledge and planning skills

  • Ability to create inclusive, engaging lessons

  • Classroom management and pupil engagement skills

Desirable:

  • Experience with exam preparation (GCSE)

  • Multi-subject flexibility (e.g. History + RS)

  • Experience with SEND or EAL learners
