Job summary

Shire Healthcare is recruiting a Chartered Psychologist to work across specialist residential services in Preston and Bolton, North West England. The role involves delivering psychological assessments, formulations and therapeutic interventions for individuals with complex needs, alongside a multidisciplinary team.

You will manage a small caseload, provide consultation to staff, and contribute to care planning. The appointment is permanent, with a salary of £49k–£58.5k per annum.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration as a Practitioner Psychologist and/or BPS Chartered status.
• Experience delivering psychological assessments, formulations and therapeutic interventions.
• Knowledge of CBT, DBT or EMDR.
• Experience working within multidisciplinary teams and providing professional consultation.
• Strong understanding of safeguarding and clinical risk management.

You will manage a small caseload, working alongside a multidisciplinary team to develop individualised care plans, provide psychological consultation and support residential staff.

Contract type – Permanent

Salary – £49k–£58.5k per annum

Experience required:
