Job summary

Masons Minibus & Coach Hire Ltd in Long Marston, Hertfordshire, is seeking a qualified PSV mechanic to keep our fleet safe and roadworthy. The role covers servicing, maintenance and repairs on PSV vehicles, with shifts on early or late patterns.

You will work in a busy workshop, diagnosing mechanical, electrical and pneumatic faults, preparing vehicles for MOT/DVSA inspections and maintaining accurate records. A UK driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
• Experience on buses, coaches or heavy vehicles.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Knowledge of DVSA roadworthiness requirements.
• Full UK driving licence; PCV licence is an advantage.

Shift Pattern

• Early shift: Monday–Friday, 05:00–15:00.
