Job summary

Medico Partners in Nottingham is seeking a Qualified Pharmacy Dispenser for the branch. The role requires an accredited level 2 or 3 Pharmacy Dispensing Course and prior pharmacy experience or an NVQ2 dispenser qualification. Training will be provided.

The contract can be full-time or part-time with shifts including some evenings and potential weekends; probation and notice periods apply. An independent, family-run pharmacy with on-site IP and parking supports the team.

Qualifications

• Essential: accredited Level 2 or Level 3 Pharmacy Dispensing Course.
• Experience in a pharmacy setting or NVQ2 Dispensing qualification is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Dispense medications and provide customer service.
• Promote NHS and private services offered on site.
• Assist with stock management and maintain pharmacy standards.

Job description

Job Title - Qualified Pharmacy Dispenser

Branch - Nottingham

Contract - Full time or Par time, Weekdays (09:00-17:00) Weekend (Sometime)

Proposed start date is depending on interview process as I am in rush to hire someone

Probation period is at least 6 months to maximum 9 months depending on appraisals

Working hours This can be discussed in the interview but basically it be 6-9 hours per shift but any shift longer then 6 hours would need a 30 minute unpaid break - number of days again would be discussed but atleast 1 day would be till 9pm - set rota - shifts do not change per week - no weekend work unless needed based on staff holidays / sickness.

It is essential the candidate for Pharmacy Dispenser has an accredited level 2 or level 3 Pharmacy Dispensing Course.

Pay would be monthly on the 5th working day of the month - holiday entitlements based on website

Duties and responsibilities - everything stated - employee would be ambassador of the pharmacy so would have their own job roles and responsibilities but would need to be trained in all aspects of the pharmacy job

Qualifications must have previous pharmacy experience or be a qualified nvq2 pharmacy dispenser or above

Training would be provided but this is based on individual basis

Independent pharmacy - family run

We have 7 other pharmacy employees - everything works different shifts - everything is either qualified or on a course

3 different pharmacists - all work different shifts sometimes there is 2 at the same time

No robot - pro-script connect - at the moment around 17,000 items but looking to expand to around 20k (that is why looking for staff)

Offer all NHS and private services - with IP on site - looking for staff to be able to promote these services

No sponsorship - right to work

Driving license not required

Interview - face to face but can ring anytime

Notice period - up to 4 weeks depending on start time
