Job summary

Cohens Chemist in Blackpool is seeking a qualified Pharmacy Assistant on a fixed term 12 month contract. You will support dispensing and labeling, assist with prescriptions, stock management and customer service in a busy dispensary.

The role requires NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services, excellent people skills and an ability to work calmly under pressure as part of a friendly team. Benefits include a discretionary bonus, holiday entitlement, pension contributions, staff discounts and training

11938 - 40 hour - Qualified Pharmacy Assistant - Fixed Term 12 Month Contract

Located at branch 730 located at Moor Park Health Centre, Bristol Avenue, Blackpool, FY2 0JG.

Working hours: 40 hour per week. Contract type: Fixed Term 12 Month Contract.

Shift pattern

• Monday 09:00 - 18:00 (1 hour unpaid lunch break)
• Tuesday 09:00 - 18:00 (1-hour unpaid lunch break)
• Wednesday 09:00 - 18:00 (1 hour unpaid lunch break)
• Thursday 09:00 - 18:00 (1-hour unpaid lunch break)
• Friday 09:00 - 18:00 (1 hour unpaid lunch break)

Responsibilities

• Assist the business in providing an efficient, knowledgeable and friendly service to our customers, with specific responsibility for providing support with the dispensing and labelling of prescription items.
• Assist with receiving prescriptions and handing out prescription items and assisting with the ordering and management of stock levels within the dispensary.
• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Pharmacy Services is essential.
• Skills in planning, attention to detail and working under pressure are all required.
