Job summary

Cohens Chemist in Stockport seeks a Qualified Pharmacy Assistant to join our team on a permanent 40-hour contract at branch 027, 256 Stockport Road, Cheadle Heath, Stockport SK3 0RG. You will assist with dispensing and labeling prescriptions and provide friendly, accurate service to customers.

NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services is essential; you'll work within a busy dispensary, ensuring stock is well managed and customer care remains high, with colleagues and managers supporting your development.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Pharmacy Services is essential.
• Strong planning, attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent people skills are paramount for customer service.

Responsibilities

11977 - 40 hour - Qualified Pharmacy Assistant - Permanent Contract We are looking to recruit a 40 hour Qualified Pharmacy Assistant on a permanent contract to work at branch 027 located at 256 Stockport Road, Cheadle Heath, Stockport, SK3 0RG.

Shift Pattern

• Monday 09:00 - 18:00 (1 hour unpaid lunch break)
• Tuesday 09:00 - 18:00 (1-hour unpaid lunch break)
• Wednesday 09:00 - 18:00 (1-hour unpaid lunch break)
• Thursday 09:00 - 18:00 (1-hour unpaid lunch break)
• Friday 09:00 - 18:00 (1- hour unpaid lunch break)

As a Qualified Pharmacy Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting the business in providing an efficient, knowledgeable and friendly service to our customers, with specific responsibility for providing support with the dispensing and labelling of prescription items. Additional responsibilities will include receiving prescriptions and handing out prescription items and assisting with the ordering and management of stock levels within the dispensary. NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Pharmacy Services is essential; skills in planning, attention to detail and working under pressure are all required. The successful candidate must have great people skills as this is paramount to your role. You will be required to work as part of a well-established team and ensure our customers receive a high standard of service.
