Cohens Chemist in the United Kingdom is recruiting a 15-hour Trainee Pharmacy Assistant on a permanent contract for our branch at 108a Warton Street, Lytham St Annes, FY8 5HA. You will work Monday 09:00-17:00 and Tuesday 09:00-17:00, with on-the-job training to gain the NVQ level 2 in Dispensing under supervision.

Ideal candidates have customer service experience and a willingness to undertake training courses to progress within the business.

Job description

11940 - 15 hour - Trainee Pharmacy Assistant - Permanent Contract We are looking to recruit a 15-hour Trainee Pharmacy Assistant on a permanent contract to work at our 587 branch located at 108a Warton Street, Lytham St Annes, FY8 5HA.

The proposed shift pattern is as follows: Monday 09:00 - 17:00 (30 minute unpaid lunch break) Tuesday 09:00 - 17:00 (30 minute unpaid lunch break)

Whilst working in this branch you will gain excellent knowledge and skills which will contribute to you successfully gaining the recognised Counter Course and NVQ level 2 qualification in Dispensing.

This position is ideally suited to someone with previous customer service experience and who is willing to undertake the relevant training courses in order to progress.

Duties will include the accurate dispensing and labelling of prescription items with guidance and supervision from the Pharmacist.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for assisting with the ordering and management of stock levels within the dispensary and the shop.

The utmost attention to detail is required in this role along with the ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines, you will also have a desire to learn and progress your career in our business.

The successful candidate must have great people skills as this is paramount to your role.

You will be required to work as part of a well-established team and ensure our customers receive a high standard of service.
