Job summary

Hyper Recruitment Solutions Ltd is seeking a Qualified Person to join a leading pharmaceutical CDMO in the South East of the UK. You will ensure the compliant certification and release of finished medicinal products, upholding high industry standards in a collaborative environment.

As a key member of the quality team, you will mentor colleagues, address major quality issues with the Head of Quality, and support continuous improvement through review of NCRs and LIRs, ensuring regulatory

Qualifications

  • A Degree or higher in Pharmaceutical Chemistry, QA or Quality Management is required.
  • Proven experience as a Qualified Person within a licensed pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
  • Extensive knowledge of GMP regulations and certification processes for medicinal products.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the Qualified Person to certify and release finished medicinal products in compliance with GMP.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Quality on major quality issues and batch certification.
  • Review NCRs and LIRs to support continuous improvement.
  • Provide GMP guidance across various departments within the business.
  • Mentor quality colleagues and support the development of Trainee QPs.

We are currently looking for a Qualified Person to join a leading pharmaceutical contract development and manufacturing organisation based in the South East of the UK. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to make a direct impact on bringing complex, life-changing medicines to market within a collaborative and supportive environment.

As a key member of the quality team, you will ensure the compliant certification and release of finished pharmaceutical products, helping to uphold the highest industry standards and contribute to innovative healthcare solutions.

Key Duties And Responsibilities

Your duties as the Qualified Person will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

  • Act as the Qualified Person to certify and release finished medicinal products, ensuring compliance with GMP and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with the Head of Quality on significant quality issues and maintain shared responsibility for batch certification.
  • Review and approve non-conformance reports (NCRs & LIRs) to support continuous improvement.
  • Provide GMP advice and guidance across various departments within the business.
  • As the Qualified Person, you will mentor quality colleagues and support the development of Trainee QPs.
Role Requirements

To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Qualified Person we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

  • A Degree or higher level in a relevant field (e.g., Pharmaceutical Chemistry / Quality Assurance / Quality Management).
  • Proven experience as a Qualified Person within a licensed pharmaceutical manufacturing environment, preferably with experience in oral solid dosage forms and highly potent drugs.
  • Extensive knowledge of GMP regulations and certification processes for medicinal products.
