Job summary

A Bolton-based top-rated day nursery is seeking a qualified Level 3 Nursery Practitioner. Join a spacious setting and contribute to play-based learning under EYFS.

You will support key children, maintain learning journals, and foster parental communication. Ideal candidates hold a Level 3 qualification in Early Years/Childcare, understand EYFS safeguarding, and have or be willing to obtain Pediatric First Aid and DBS clearance.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Early Years/Childcare.
• Strong understanding of EYFS framework and safeguarding procedures.
• Pediatric First Aid certificate (preferred or willing to undertake).
• Enhanced DBS check.

• Act as a Key Person for a group of children, tracking progress and updating learning journals (e.g., via EYLog/Tapestry).
• Plan and carry out creative, age-appropriate activities aligned with EYFS frameworks.
• Ensure high standards of child safety, hygiene, safeguarding, and well-being at all times.
• Build strong, open communication channels with parents and carers.
