Job summary

Nurseplus is hiring a Qualified Nursery Practitioner to provide high-quality care in a nursery setting across the local area. You will cover day-to-day duties for short or long-term placements, supporting children's development and safety, and helping them learn through play.

You will join a compassionate team with opportunities for ongoing development, industry training aligned with Care Certificate standards, and access to additional funding for qualifications. UK work rights required.

Qualifications

• Must be over 18 years old and have the right to work in the UK.
• NVQ Diploma Level 2 or 3 in Childcare or Early Years Education is essential.
• Clear enhanced DBS application upon registration.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily care, supervision and wellbeing of children in the nursery.
• Support planning and delivery of age-appropriate activities to encourage learning and development.
• Maintain a clean, safe and stimulating nursery environment meeting health and safety standards.
• Champion the nursery values to create a nurturing atmosphere for children.
• Provide guidance and support to colleagues to promote best practice across the nursery.

What You’ll Be Doing

What We’re Looking For

• You must be over 18 years old and have the right to work in the UK.


• Willing to travel to multiple locations within your local area.


• NVQ Diploma Level 2 or 3 is essential in Childcare or Early Years Education.


• A good standard of English and the ability to communicate effectively.


• A clear enhanced DBS, which you can apply for upon registration.
