Job summary

Nurseplus is seeking a Nursery Practitioner – Level 2 to provide high-quality early years care within a nursery setting. You will support children's development, ensure safety, and help them learn through play while covering short or longer-term placements in the local area.

You will benefit from industry-leading training aligned with national standards, opportunities to progress with NVQ Levels 2 and 3, and flexible shifts. Weekly pay is provided, along with a Blue Light Card and other perks.

Qualifications

• NVQ Diploma Level 2 or above in Childcare or Early Years Education.
• Must be over 18 and have the right to work in the UK.
• Clear enhanced DBS is required.
• Willing to travel to multiple locations within the local area.
• Good standard of English and effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily care, supervision and wellbeing of children in the nursery.
• Support planning and delivery of age-appropriate learning activities.
• Maintain a clean, safe and stimulating nursery environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Nursery Practitioner with Nurseplus, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality early years care and education. Key responsibilities include:

What We’re Looking For

• You must be over 18 years old and have the right to work in the UK.
• Willing to travel to multiple locations within your local area.
• NVQ Diploma Level 2 or above is essential in Childcare or Early Years Education.
• A good standard of English and the ability to communicate effectively.
• A clear enhanced DBS, which you can apply for upon registration.
