Monkey Puzzle Epping are seeking a Qualified Nursery Practitioner (Level 3 or above) to join their team at the brand-new nursery. Starting from £29,120 per annum, dependent on qualifications and experience. The role emphasizes safeguarding, child development, and creating enriching learning environments.

You will work in a supportive, well-regarded group across UK nurseries, with a strong focus on wellbeing, professional growth, and flexible working where possible.

Qualifications

• GCSEs 5-9/A-C
• Ability to ensure safety and welfare of children with safeguarding knowledge
• Appropriate behaviour management
• Participation in child observations and assessments with understanding of child development
• EYFS frameworks understanding

Responsibilities

• Support the nursery to grow and perform at a high standard, whilst ensuring that all legislation and EYFS frameworks are adhered to.
• Create inspirational, creative, and effective learning environments in line with the needs of the children and the nursery.
• Ensure the safety and welfare of children through a confident knowledge of safeguarding processes and procedures.
• Implement the EYFS with a good understanding of child development.
• Report any issues of concern to a senior team member or relevant services.
• Work in partnership with parents and our partners to ensure our children thrive.
• Show a positive attitude with children, parents, colleagues and visitors to maintain our happy nursery.

Key Responsibilities
