Job summary

Childbase Partnership is recruiting a Qualified Nursery Practitioner (Level 3+) for Highfield Day Nursery, Edgbaston, Birmingham. This permanent role is 37.5-40 hours weekly, 52 weeks per year, with shifts Mon-Fri between 07:30-18:30 and a salary of £27,289.60-£30,929.60 per annum (pro-rata).

You will plan engaging EYFS activities as Key Person, observe progress, safeguard children, and work closely with families and colleagues to promote well-being.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of the EYFS enables you to work as a Key Person and plan engaging activities.
  • Understanding safeguarding principles to protect every child.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with children, families and colleagues.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver high-quality activities promoting learning through play.
  • Observe, assess and record children's progress as Key Person.
  • Support safeguarding and work in partnership with parents and staff.
