The successful candidate must have a genuine passion for childcare and be enthusiastic and driven to provide young children with the best early years education and care to support their development.

Requirements

• Cache/NVQ Level 2 or 3 Diploma in Early Years or equivalent
• Excellent spoken and written English
• Passion, creativity, joy, flexibility, reliability, commitment, and good communication skills

Key Responsibilities

• Provide a safe, supportive, and caring environment for children in the nursery, ensuring all aspects of each child's development are considered
• Maintain high standards of quality within the nursery, including environment, resources, and experiences offered to children
• Participate in planning the EYFS curriculum and keep accurate records of children's observations and development
• Act as a key person, building relationships with a small group of children and their families
• Support and promote good practice regarding special needs and inclusion
• Share responsibility for health, safety, and cleanliness throughout the nursery, maintaining high hygiene standards
• Ensure children's safety and follow Child Protection procedures when necessary
• Support and mentor colleagues studying for NVQ childcare qualifications
• Attend staff meetings and training sessions as required
