Job summary

Aston Autopark in Melton Mowbray is recruiting Vehicle Technicians for Ford, Vauxhall, Citroën and Peugeot franchises. We welcome Master, Diagnostic and EV technicians with strong problem solving and a can‑do attitude.

Two years’ experience and a full UK driving licence are required, with for EV training provided if needed. The role is full-time, Monday to Friday 8:30am–5:30pm, with Saturday 8:30am–12:30pm on a rota.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
• EV qualification desirable (training can be provided).
• Experience in Diagnostic or Master Technician role.
• UK driving licence required.
• Minimum of two years’ experience.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair vehicles efficiently and to a high standard.
• Carry out electronic Visual Health Checks (eVHC).
• Ensure all repairs are completed safely and in line with MOT and manufacturer guidelines.
• Complete all relevant documentation accurately.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment.
• Continuously develop your technical knowledge through training and upskilling.

We are looking for technicians. Are you a Master Technician? A Diagnostic Technician? An EV Technician? If so, we would love to hear from you!

As we continue to expand our Ford, Vauxhall, Citroën and Peugeot franchises in Melton Mowbray, we are seeking additional Vehicle Technicians

We have opportunities available for Master Technicians, Diagnostic Technicians, highly skilled Mechanical Technicians and Auto-Electrical Technicians.

We now represent four franchises at service level, with further expansion plans across two workshops/showrooms on a 3.5-acre site.

We consistently lead the league tables in customer satisfaction and dealership performance at manufacturer level.

Main dealer experience is not essential, but a minimum of two years’ experience is required.
