Job summary

TeacherActive Limited is seeking an experienced Maths Teacher for a full-time, long-term temporary role in Merthyr Tydfil. The successful candidate will plan and deliver Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4, assess progress, and support students of varying abilities to achieve their potential.

The role requires QTS with Maths, strong curriculum knowledge, excellent classroom management, and a confident, adaptable approach. Immediate start with PAYE payroll and opportunities for CPD will be provided.

Salary: £172.98 - £210 per day

The school is looking to appoint a dedicated Maths Teacher on a full-time, long-term temporary basis with an immediate start. The successful Maths Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4, assessing student progress, managing classroom behaviour and supporting students of varying abilities to achieve their full potential.

The successful Maths Teacher will have:

• Qualified Teacher Status / QTS with a Maths specialism (NQTs are welcome to apply)

• Experience teaching Maths across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4

• Strong knowledge of the Mathematics curriculum

• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills

• Strong communication and organisational skills

• A confident, adaptable and enthusiastic approach to teaching
