Job summary

Rubax Lifts Limited is seeking a Service and Call Out Lift Engineer to join the Northwest-based team. You will carry out routine servicing and minor repairs, conduct fault finding, and ensure lifts operate safely and reliably.

The role requires an NVQ Level 3 in lift maintenance or equivalent and a Full UK driving license, with a focus on customer service and timely interventions. The successful candidate will work as part of the local team, supporting contracts with preventative maintenance

Qualifications

Experience in lift Servicing/Maintenance/Repairs preferred
Advanced Electrical and Mechanical knowledge, including Multi-Brand equipment
Advanced problem-solving skills
Full UK driving Licence
Proven fault finding and diagnostic skills

Responsibilities

Carry out routine servicing of lift equipment and minor repair work.
Rectify faults on lift equipment during breakdowns and verify correct functioning.
Check speed, motor start/stop, noise, temperature and power supply using approved tools and PPE.
Inspect and adjust installations; reinstate lift and complete service documentation.
Perform fault finding and diagnostics to restore equipment to service.
