Job summary

Creative Support's Development Pathway is seeking a pleasant, reliable, flexible and hardworking Qualified Joiner to join our Mobile Maintenance Team. You’ll deliver high-quality first‑line maintenance across multiple sites in the North West, respecting tenants and their homes.

The team reports to Head Office in Stockport with 8:30 AM Monday meetings and attends additional site meetings as required. We offer full uniform and PPE, all tools provided, a generous pension, 25 days leave plus a

Qualifications

• Experience as a qualified joiner within housing maintenance.
• Ability to repair, maintain or replace kitchen units in tenants' flats.
• Capability to repair or replace wooden fixtures such as doors or locks.
• Skill in finishing surfaces via sanding, staining or varnishing.

Responsibilities

• Repairing, maintaining, or replacing kitchen units in tenants' flats following leaks.
• Repairing, maintaining, or replacing wooden fixtures like doors or locks.
• Finishing surfaces through sanding, staining or varnishing.
• Be able to assist other engineers outside of your discipline when required; join the on-call rota with enhanced payments.

Job description

We are looking for pleasant, reliable, flexible and hardworking hands-on Qualified Joiner that take pride in their work to join our team of friendly Maintenance Operatives working mostly in the Greater Manchester and North West. Operatives will provide a high-quality first line maintenance service at multiple sites throughout our portfolio, and will be respectful of our tenants and their homes. The Mobile Maintenance Team report to our Head Office in Stockport at 8.30 AM for a Maintenance Meeting every Monday morning and attend other meetings at this site.

Applicants should have experience in the below:

• Repairing, maintaining, or replacing kitchen units within tenants flats following leaks
• Repairing, maintaining, or replacing wooden fixtures ie doors or locks
• Finishing surfaces through sanding, staining or varnishing
• Be able to assist other engineers outside of your discipline where required

This is a full-time position. A full driving licence is required, and a vehicle will be available for work purposes. It is essential that Operatives contribute to the On Call Rota - additional payments are made for on call, including generous flat rate payment and enhanced payments when called out.
