Location: Camden, North London
Position: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: MPS/UPS (depending on experience)
Start Date: September 2025 (or earlier for the right candidate)

We are currently recruiting for enthusiastic and motivated English Teachers (Language and/or Literature) to join a range of welcoming and high-performing secondary schools across Camden. Whether you’re an ECT or an experienced teacher, this is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a supportive and forward-thinking school community.
About the Role:
As an English Teacher, you will deliver engaging and well-structured lessons across KS3 and KS4, with opportunities to teach KS5 depending on experience. You’ll play a vital role in nurturing literacy, analytical thinking, and a love for literature and communication among students of all backgrounds and abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
· Plan and deliver high-quality English Language and Literature lessons aligned with the national curriculum
· Inspire students through creative teaching methods and well-chosen texts
· Support pupils development in reading, writing, speaking, and listening
· Monitor and assess progress to ensure strong academic outcomes
· Contribute to departmental planning, enrichment activities, and school events
Ideal Candidate:
· Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
· Strong knowledge of English Language and/or Literature curricula
· Excellent classroom management and communication skills
· A passion for fostering a love of reading and writing
· Reflective, proactive, and committed to professional development
· Experience teaching A-Level (desirable, but not essential)
