Qualified English Teacher (Language & Literature) - Enfield Schools
Location: Enfield, North London
Position: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: MPS/UPS (depending on experience)
Start Date: September 2025 (or earlier for the right candidate)

We are currently recruiting for enthusiastic and motivated English Teachers (Language and/or Literature) to join a range of welcoming and high-performing secondary schools across Enfield. Whether you're an ECT or an experienced teacher, this is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a supportive and forward-thinking school community.


About the Role:
As an English Teacher, you will deliver engaging and well-structured lessons across KS3 and KS4, with opportunities to teach KS5 depending on experience. You'll play a vital role in nurturing literacy, analytical thinking, and a love for literature and communication among students of all backgrounds and abilities.


Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver high-quality English Language and Literature lessons aligned with the national curriculum
Inspire students through creative teaching methods and well-chosen texts
Support pupils development in reading, writing, speaking, and listening
Monitor and assess progress to ensure strong academic outcomes
Contribute to departmental planning, enrichment activities, and school events


Ideal Candidate:
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
Strong knowledge of English Language and/or Literature curricula
Excellent classroom management and communication skills
A passion for fostering a love of reading and writing
Reflective, proactive, and committed to professional development
Experience teaching A-Level (desirable, but not essential)
