Job Description:

We are seeking a Qualified English Teacher to join a secondary school team on a temporary basis from September. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 English classes. This job is located in Haringey, North London.

Job Title: English Teacher
Location: Haringey
Salary: Depending on experience
Contract Type: Long Term Temporary with possibility of permanent position
Contract Term: Long Term from September.

Your new role

Plan and prepare engaging and challenging English lessons to meet the needs of all students-

Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences to all students in your classes

Assess and record student progress regularly and report to parents and senior staff as required

Maintain high standards of behaviour and discipline within the classroom and the wider school environment

Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and develop resources

What you'll need to succeed

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching English at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4-

Excellent subject knowledge and the ability to plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons

Strong classroom management skills and the ability to maintain high standards of behaviour and discipline

Enhanced DBS check

Strong communication and interpersonal skills
