Job summary

Teaching Personnel are seeking an enthusiastic, caring and motivated qualified Early Years Practitioner or Early Years Teacher to join a nurturing nursery in the Woking area, linked to a well-established independent school. This is a full-time role, with 5 days per week (3 days per week considered), offering a supportive environment to help children develop through purposeful play, high-quality interactions and engaging activities.

EYFS knowledge is essential.

Qualifications

• Qualified Early Years Practitioner or QTS/EYTS required.
• Experience in early years or nursery settings.
• Strong understanding of the EYFS and child development.
• Ability to plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills and ability to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Support children’s learning and development through purposeful play and high-quality interactions.
• Work closely with colleagues and families to support each child’s wellbeing and progress.
• Contribute to a nurturing and stimulating learning environment.
• Help implement a calm, secure and inclusive classroom routine.
