Job summary

Bright Horizons Ely Day Nursery & Pre-School is seeking a flexible practitioner to join Bright Flex / Bank team in Ely. You will support delivery of the EYFS through engaging children in educational activities and help the wider team with day-to-day tasks such as room tidying and preparation.

The role requires a full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification, prior experience with children, and a passion for making learning fun.

• Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
• Previous experience working with children – Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Nurse, Early Years Educator, Nanny, Childminder or similar.
• Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child.
• Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults.
• Sound understanding of child protection and safeguarding.
• Ability to be flexible and adaptable.

Responsibilities

We’re looking for a flexible working practitioner to join our Bright Flex / Bank team at our Ely Nursery which is conveniently located in the Cambridgeshire Business Park, just five minutes from Ely train station. We offer on-site parking for staff. The Role

Working as part of our Bright Flex / Bank team, you can blend the convenience of bank/agency work, with the security and benefits of being an employee – giving you the best of both worlds! Within this role, you will support colleagues with their delivery of the EYFS through engaging children in entertaining and educational activities, encouraging their development towards key milestones. You will also work as part of a larger team to ensure all essential day-to-day tasks are completed, such as room tidying and preparation.
