Job summary

Bright Horizons Crawley Day Nursery and Preschool is seeking a Nursery Practitioner to join the Bright Flex / Bank team in Crawley. You will support EYFS delivery through engaging activities, helping children progress towards key milestones, and contribute to daily tasks with the team.

Experience in an early years setting and a Level 2/3 qualification are required. The role offers flexible bank hours with employee benefits and a supportive culture.

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Level 2/3 or above Early Years qualification.
• Previous experience working with children – Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Nurse, Early Years Educator, Nanny, Childminder or similar.
• Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child.
• Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults.
• Sound understanding of child protection and safeguarding.
• Ability to be flexible and adaptable.

Responsibilities

• Engage children in entertaining and educational activities to support EYFS milestones.
• Work with a larger team to complete day-to-day tasks such as room tidying and preparation.

Salary – Starting from £12.99 per hour (dependent on qualification/s and experience)

The Role
