Job summary

Bright Horizons is seeking a qualified Bank Staff Member to support nurseries within our Bright Flex / Bank team. You will help deliver the EYFS, engage children with education-focused activities, and assist with daily tasks like room tidying and preparation.

We welcome applicants with a Level 2/3 Early Years qualification and childcare experience. DBS checks are required, and you will join a supportive network with opportunities for professional development and flexible bank shifts.

Qualifications

• Level 2/3 or above Early Years qualification
• Previous experience working with children in roles such as Nursery Practitioner/Nursery Nurse/Early Years Educator
• Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
• Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with children and adults
• Sound understanding of child protection and safeguarding
• Ability to be flexible and adaptable

You will also work as part of a larger team to ensure all essential day-to-day tasks are completed, such as room tidying and preparation.

• Full and relevant Level 2 or 3 or above Early Years qualification
• Previous experience working with children - Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Nurse, Early Years Educator, Nanny, Childminder or similar
• Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
• Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults
• Sound understanding of child protection and safeguarding
• Ability to be flexible and adaptable
