Job summary

Bright Horizons Rugby Day Nursery is seeking a qualified Bank Staff member to support the delivery of the EYFS within our nursery. The role blends bank/agency flexibility with the security and benefits of employee status, helping create a stimulating environment for children.

You will engage children with educational activities and work as part of a larger team to ensure day-to-day tasks are completed, supporting colleagues across the nursery.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or 3+ Early Years qualification
• Experience in nursery settings or similar roles
• Passion for making learning fun and engaging
• Ability to communicate effectively with children and adults
• Good understanding of safeguarding and child protection

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of the EYFS through engaging activities
• Contribute to a safe, clean, and well-organised environment
• Assist with daily tasks such as tidying and preparation
• Work as part of the Bright Flex/Bank team and be flexible

Salary – Starting from £13.50-£14.04 per hour (dependant on qualification/s and experience)

The Role

Working as part of our Bright Flex / Bank team, you can blend the convenience of bank/ agency work, with the security and benefits of being an employee – giving you the best of both worlds!

Within this role, you will support colleagues with their delivery of the EYFS through engaging children in entertaining and educational activities, encouraging their development towards key milestones. You will also work as part of a larger team to ensure all essential day-to-day tasks are completed, such as room tidying and preparation.

What We're Looking For

• Full and relevant Level 2 or 3 or above Early Years qualification
• Previous experience working with children – Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Nurse, Early Years Educator, Nanny, Childminder or similar
• Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
• Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults
• Sound understanding of child protection and safeguarding
• Ability to be flexible and adaptable
