Job description

I am currently seeking an experienced Dispensing Optician to join an independent optician in the Southeast London area. You will be a key part of the team and contribute to the day-to-day operations of the practice. This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about eye care and wants to be a part of a new and exciting opticians that is in its growth period.

Position: Dispensing Optician
Salary: 35,000+ (DOE)
Hours: 5 days a week, no Sundays.
Sites: Bexleyheath, Sevenoaks and Chislehurst. (You’ll be based across 3 sites, with rota’s released 3 weeks in advance.)

Responsibilities: As a Mobile Qualified Dispensing Optician, your role will involve:
– Dispensing spectacles to clients of all levels.
– Assisting clients in selecting the perfect frames.
– Conducting contact lens teachings for clients.
– Handling sales, shop floor duties, reception tasks, and admin responsibilities.

Requirements: To excel in this role, you should have:
– Strong proficiency in dispensing spectacles.
– Exceptional communication and sales skills.

Benefits: We offer a competitive salary of up to 35,000, depending on experience, and a long-term opportunity within our friendly team. This is a full-time position, with five days of working – could be open to Monday – Friday ONLY, for the right candidate, including 31 days holiday package.
