A typical day involves conducting eye examinations, contact lens fittings, and extended service examinations. You will work alongside our Dispensing Optician Manager to support training, coaching, and maintaining departmental standards.

Due to our NHS extended service contracts, we offer a wide range of eye condition treatments and monitoring. We will support you in gaining any additional necessary accreditations to provide these services.

We are passionate about developing our Optometrists' skills. Our comprehensive CPD programme includes protected time and funding for further accreditations, enabling you to meet evolving eye care needs and reach your full potential.

You will receive full support from in-store, regional, and head office teams, whether your queries are clinical or service-related.

We seek a dedicated Optometrist committed to excellence in healthcare. The ideal candidate is eager to contribute to our store's service levels and foster positive relationships within the team and community.

You will be:

• A fully qualified optometrist registered with the GOC
• A registered performer with your NHS area team or health board
• MECs or WECs accredited (or willing to gain accreditation within 12 months, supported and funded by us)
• On track to meet statutory CPD points requirements
• Skilled and passionate about delivering excellent patient care
• Enthusiastic about developing new patient services and shaping the department's culture

Applicants must be registered with the GOC and have evidence of Right To Work in the UK. We will also require evidence of NHS performer list inclusion and two clinical references. For Wales, WECS and WGOS module accreditation evidence is required.
