Job summary

Together Dental Basildon is seeking a Qualified Dental Nurse to join a friendly, patient-focused team. You will provide chairside support to dentists, prepare treatment rooms and equipment, and maintain high standards of infection prevention.

Whether newly qualified or experienced, you will contribute to delivering exceptional patient care in a supportive, professional environment with opportunities to develop additional skills. The role is permanent with hourly pay and a 40-hour week.

Qualifications

• A recognised Dental Nursing qualification.
• Current GDC registration.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A positive, reliable, and professional approach.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• A commitment to delivering high standards of patient care.
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide chairside support to our dentists and clinicians across a range of treatments.
• Prepare treatment rooms and equipment to ensure surgeries run efficiently.
• Maintain high standards of infection prevention and control.
• Sterilise and maintain dental instruments and equipment.
• Keep accurate and up-to-date clinical records.
• Support patients throughout their visit, helping them feel comfortable and informed.
• Work closely with colleagues to deliver an exceptional patient experience.
• Assist with stock control and ensure surgeries are fully equipped and compliant.
