Job summary

Together Dental is seeking an experienced Head Dental Nurse in Basildon to lead the nursing team while delivering outstanding patient care. You will work with the Practice Manager and clinicians to maintain clinical standards, ensure a positive patient experience, and foster a supportive work environment.

The role offers leadership responsibilities with opportunities for professional development and collaboration with a dedicated practice team committed to NHS and private patients alike.

Qualifications

• GDC registration as a qualified Dental Nurse.
• A recognised Dental Nursing qualification.
• Significant experience in a dental practice.
• Previous leadership or senior-role experience or potential to step into one.

Responsibilities

• Lead, support, and motivate the dental nursing team.
• Maintain highest standards of patient care and clinical excellence.
• Oversee compliance with GDC standards, CQC regulations, HTM guidance and infection control.
• Coordinate nurse rotas and ensure clinical cover.
