Job summary

Together Dental Basildon is seeking a caring, motivated Qualified Dental Nurse to join our welcoming practice on a 12-month fixed term contract. This role is 32 hours per week across Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.

You will provide chairside support, prepare rooms, maintain infection control, sterilise instruments, and keep accurate patient records while delivering excellent care and supporting patients throughout their visit.

Qualifications

• A recognised Dental Nursing qualification.
• Current GDC registration.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A positive, reliable, and professional approach.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide chairside support to dentists and clinicians across a range of treatments.
• Prepare treatment rooms and equipment to ensure surgeries run efficiently.
• Maintain high standards of infection prevention and control.
• Sterilise and maintain dental instruments and equipment.
• Keep accurate and up-to-date clinical records.
• Support patients throughout their visit, helping them feel comfortable and informed.
• Work closely with colleagues to deliver an exceptional patient experience.
• Assist with stock control and ensure surgeries are fully equipped and compliant.
