Job summary

Rodericks Dental Partners is seeking a Qualified/Apprentice Dental Nurse for Selly Oak Dental Practice in Birmingham. The role offers 38 hours per week with Saturday coverage, supporting a high-standard clinical environment and patient care across our network.

You will assist dentists, prepare instruments, maintain infection control, and help deliver a welcoming experience for patients. Comprehensive onboarding and development opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Qualified and GDC-registered Dental Nurse.
• Confident communication and organisational skills.
• Able to work in a clinical environment including procedures where you may see blood or surgical treatments.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentists during a wide range of clinical procedures.
• Prepare and maintain dental instruments, equipment, and materials.
• Uphold high standards of infection control and surgery cleanliness.
• Provide reassurance and support to patients throughout their visit.
• Maintain accurate patient records and manage administrative tasks.
• Promote and advise patients on oral health and dental care products.
• Play an important role in creating a friendly, welcoming atmosphere for patients and the team.
