Job summary

Arriva UK Bus Ltd in the United Kingdom is looking for friendly, professional PCV Bus Drivers to join the team. As a Bus Driver you will be the welcoming face passengers see every day, helping people get to work, school, appointments and home safely across local routes.

Whether you are experienced or hold a PCV licence, we’d love to hear from you. Successful candidates will complete a medical assessment and drug and alcohol screening before employment.

• A full UK driving licence with Category D / PCV entitlement.

Responsibilities

• Driving buses safely and professionally across local routes.
• Providing excellent customer service to passengers every day.
• Helping customers with travel information, tickets, and enquiries.
• Supporting elderly and vulnerable passengers where needed.
• Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks before starting service.
• Keeping services running smoothly and on time where possible.
• Reporting vehicle defects, incidents, or delays accurately.
• Working closely with depot teams and controllers.
• Maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for passengers.
• Following all health, safety, and transport regulations.
