Job summary

Arriva Group is seeking a PCV Bus Driver to connect communities from Bangor/Wrexham depots. You will drive routes, ensure passenger safety, and deliver friendly service, with a rotating 5-out-of-7 schedule.

Requirements include a valid PCV licence, 12 months driving experience, <=6 points, and the ability to pass drug/alcohol tests. Overtime and carrier benefits are available.

Location: Bangor Depot. Pay Rate: £13.45-£22.00 per hour.

What We Offer

• Competitive Pay: Monday to Saturday £13.45/hr (rising to £15.80 after 3 weeks); Sunday £22.00/hr; Bank Holidays £22.50/hr; Overtime: Flat rate

Hours Of Work

• 5 out of 7 rotating shift patterns, planned up to 6-8 weeks in advance
• Mornings starting from 04:00, Afternoons from 12:00, Evenings from 18:00
• Overtime available based on request/availability
• We cannot offer fixed early, afternoon, or evening shifts separately

What We Need From You

• MUST have a valid PCV Licence – This is a non-negotiable requirement (If you don’t have a PCV licence yet, apply for our Trainee role, and we’ll provide paid training to help you get qualified!)
• At least 12 months of driving experience
• No more than 6 points on your licence
• Ability to pass a drug and alcohol test
• Excellent customer service and people skills
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends
