Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking a QTS Tutor to deliver Maths and English to KS2-4 students currently disengaged from mainstream education, in the Bishop Auckland area.

You will create, plan and deliver 1:1 tailored lessons, helping pupils re-engage with learning and reintegrate into school life. This role suits an experienced teacher seeking flexible, personalised tuition outside the classroom.

Qualifications

• QTS or QTLS qualifications.
• At least 6 months experience working in a UK school.
• Right to work in the UK is required.
• DBS certificate or willingness to process a new application.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 1:1 tailored Maths and English lessons to KS2-4.
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons to bridge gaps in pupils' learning.
• Support pupil reintegration into mainstream education.
