Prospero Teaching is recruiting a QTS Tutor to deliver Maths and English tuition to KS2-4 students around Bishop Auckland. The role involves creating and delivering 1:1 tailored lessons, bridging gaps in education, and helping pupils reintegrate into school.

The position is flexible between part time and full time, starting September 2026, with a pay rate up to £30 per hour. Candidates should have QTS/QTLS, be able to work in the UK, and be prepared to undergo DBS checks with strong references.

Qualifications

• QTS or QTLS qualifications required.
• 6 months+ experience in a UK school.
• Right to Work in the UK.
• Enhanced DBS certificate or willingness to obtain one.
• Two professional references from the last two years.

Responsabilités

• Deliver 1:1 tailored maths and English tuition.
• Bridge gaps in pupils' education and engage them in learning.
• Plan, deliver and monitor progress for each pupil.
• Support reintegration into school and maintain daily structure.
