Prospero Teaching are looking for experienced Online Tutors that hold QTS in or around the Norfolk area, to provide tuition for children with SEN or behavioural needs, specializing in Maths, English and Science.

Tutors will plan and deliver 1:1 tailored lessons to bridge gaps, re-engage students who have been out of education, and support confidence and attainment.

Applicants should have QTS/QLTS/PGCE/EYFS, UK right to work, and DBS; roles can be part-time or full-time in Norfolk.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering tailored 1:1 lessons for pupils with SEN and/or behavioural needs.
• Strong background in supporting SEN pupils with autism, SEMH and complex needs.
• QTS/QLTS/PGCE/EYFS or equivalent qualification held (or international equivalent).

Prospero Teaching are looking for experienced Online Tutors that hold QTS in or around the Norfolk area, to provide tuition for children who may have a range of special educational needs or behavioural needs. Specialising in the subjects of Maths, English and Science.

As a Tutor, you must be able to plan and deliver 1:1 tailored lesson to bridge gaps in pupil's education and boost engagement and attainment levels. Most of these pupils will have been out of education for some time, so their confidence levels may be very low. It is your responsibility to reengage them in their learning and offer structure back into their daily routine.

The students that require support are often SEN pupils with EHCPs. Tuition often takes place at home and will be in and around Norfolk. A strong background in supporting SEN pupils with autism, SEMH, and complex needs would be essential for this role.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

• Location - Norfolk
• Type of work - Contract
• Duration - dependent on each student
• End date - N/A
• Contract type - Temporary
• Full time/part time - Part time and full time depending on availability
• Minimum rate of pay - Minimum rate £25 per hour. The hourly rate will be in line with professional pay scales where these are available or based on experience if they are not available.
• Hours - Working hours can differentiate, minimum 1 hour per session and a maximum of 3 hours per session

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

• QTS, QTLS, PGCE, EYFS or equivalent
• 6 months+ experience working in a UK school
• Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential)

To be eligible for this role, the potential Online Tutors MUST:

• Hold the right to work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional child-related references.
• Have access to a personal computer and the internet.
