Job summary

Interaction Recruitment PLC is seeking a commercially-minded Quantity Surveyor to manage a diverse portfolio of smaller-scale projects within a stable government framework. You will have sole ownership of projects from inception to completion in Plymouth, with a small team providing support.

Qualifications

• Commercial sector background is highly desirable.
• Framework experience with government/public sector frameworks is a plus, but not essential.
• Ability to manage multiple smaller projects concurrently while maintaining attention to detail.
• Team player with a proactive attitude within a small, supportive team.
• Willing and eligible to undergo enhanced security clearance, including DBS checks.

Responsibilities

• Full lifecycle management of multiple smaller projects from pre-construction/tendering through to final accounts.
• Pre-construction collaboration: price tenders, review documents, and secure upcoming projects.
• Commercial control: manage variations, cost reporting, sub-contractor procurement, valuations, and final accounts.
• Stakeholder engagement: act as a key point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
