Job summary

Verto People Ltd is seeking a Quality Assurance Assistant / Quality Assurance Coordinator / QHSE Coordinator to join a leading global engineering manufacturer. You will support QHSE, quality and compliance across the organisation, working on audits, risk assessments and ISO9001 processes.

Ideal candidates will have experience in manufacturing or engineering environments, with knowledge of ISO9001, document control and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a QHSE Coordinator or similar in manufacturing/engineering.
• Strong understanding of QHSE principles, audits, risk assessments, and environmental standards.
• Experience with ISO9001 and document control.
• Knowledge of UK QHSE legislation and continuous improvement processes.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; good communication with stakeholders.
• Experience with QHSE systems and ERP/MRP platforms.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation and maintenance of QHSE policies, procedures, quality systems and company standards, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and ISO requirements.
• Conduct and support health & safety inspections, workplace audits, risk assessments, COSHH assessments, method statements and incident investigations.
• Maintain accurate QHSE documentation, including inspection records, training records, document control systems, NCRs and corrective/preventative actions.
• Support internal and external audits, customer requirements, regulatory compliance activities and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist with environmental activities, including waste management, pollution prevention and environmental inspections.
• Support employee QHSE training, toolbox talks, inductions and management reporting, including QHSE performance statistics and system updates.
