Verto People, Ltd. is helping a leading global engineering manufacturer recruit a Quality Assurance Assistant / Quality Assurance Coordinator / QHSE Coordinator to support QHSE, quality and compliance across the organisation in a Bristol area site.

The role covers audits, risk assessments, ISO9001 processes, incident investigations, document control and continuous improvement, with commutable from Bristol and a package including pension and holiday benefits.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a QHSE Coordinator or similar in manufacturing/industrial environments.
• Knowledge of ISO9001, audits, document control and corrective actions.
• Understanding of QHSE principles including health & safety and environmental standards.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Able to communicate with internal teams, contractors and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation and maintenance of QHSE policies and ISO compliant systems.
• Conduct health and safety inspections, audits, risk assessments and incident investigations.
• Maintain QHSE documentation, training records and NCRs.
• Support internal and external audits and regulatory compliance activities.
• Assist with environmental duties, waste management and environmental inspections.
• Provide management reporting and updates on QHSE performance.
