Job description

Our client is a leading engineering and project delivery company based in Norfolk serving the global Oil & Gas and Energy sectors. Working on some of the most complex and technically demanding projects in the industry.

About the Role

They are seeking a dedicated and experienced QC/QA Advisor to strengthen the Quality team. This role is critical in ensuring that all aspects of fabrication, pressure testing, and inspection meet strict industry and client standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong shop floor background, coupled with excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with multiple stakeholders across global projects.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor project quality performance, support milestone tracking, and ensure customer feedback is addressed swiftly and effectively.
  • Work closely with multi-disciplinary teams to support successful project execution.
  • Liaise with supplier QA representatives to manage and resolve quality concerns.
  • Support bid and proposal efforts with specific focus on QHSE requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with client QHSE personnel and third-party service providers.
  • Ensure quality-related documentation is managed, authorised, and aligned with project schedules.
  • Develop, update, and report on QA activity schedules across all assigned projects.
  • Provide hands-on QA support at project sites locally and internationally.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as required within the scope of your role.



Key Requirements:

  • Significant hands-on experience in fabrication, pressure testing, and inspection in the Oil & Gas or Energy sectors.
  • Deep understanding of QA/QC principles, documentation control, and quality system standards.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in project environments with competing deadlines and stakeholder demands.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a proactive approach to problem-
  • QA/QC certifications such as ISO 9001 Lead Auditor.
  • HNC/HND or equivalent in Engineering or related technical discipline
  • Experience with high-spec fabrication for subsea, topside, or high-pressure systems
