Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. in Worksop is seeking a QHSE Coordinator to support safety, quality and service on a high‑volume retail distribution site. You will assist the QHSE Manager, embed safety standards and promote a proactive safety culture across teams.

This full‑time role runs Monday to Friday, 08:00–16:00 with some flexibility. You’ll manage audits, incident investigations and RAMS coordination, while maintaining records and driving continuous improvement in line with Road to Zero.

Qualifications

• Experience in health & safety or QHSE support role.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• High attention to detail and a structured, methodical approach.
• Confident communicator who can engage with colleagues at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Support the QHSE Manager with all aspects of health & safety, including audits, inspections and incident investigations
• Maintain accurate records, trackers and reporting, ensuring compliance data is always up to date
• Carry out site walks and safety checks, promoting a visible and proactive safety culture
• Assist with accident and incident investigations, identifying root causes and driving corrective actions
• Coordinate contractor documentation, permits and RAMS to ensure safe, controlled site activity
