Job summary

Columbus McKinnon Corporation is seeking a QEHS leader to lead, develop and continuously improve the Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental management systems across three UK sites with a view to consolidation of accreditations and full legal compliance.

The role protects employees, customers, assets and reputation while supporting operational excellence, customer satisfaction and continual business improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems.
• Knowledge of UK and EU regulations and widely used international standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the local QEHS Management System and track actions related to gaps and improvements.
• Consider formation of 1 QMS for all 3 sites aligned with the EMEA QMS.
• Support QEHS plans and activities throughout the year.
• Provide QEHS tools, information, and training materials to operational teams.
• Keep up to date with QEHS requirements and communicate changes.
• Plan and coordinate audits, inspections, and compliance activities.
• Gather and maintain monthly QEHS records and reports.
• Review QEHS performance data and highlight improvement opportunities.
• Attend QEHS meetings and contribute to discussions.
• Assist in developing and delivering internal quality and safety training.
