Job Description

QEHS Assistant - (Reporting and Administration)

Location: Hybrid - Pirin Court - E16

This role supports the Telent Transport Asset Management business in achieving high standards of Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality Assurance, in line with UK legislation, directives, operational requirements, and customer standards.

The QEHS Assistant will be mentored by the QEHS Manager to develop their knowledge and skills by assisting operations with implementing industry best practices, minimizing injury risks, and promoting an efficient QEHS culture through robust management systems.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage QEHS KPI Data and Reporting using the Microsoft Power Platform and Office Suites
  2. Maintain Planned QEHS Briefings using software like Page Tiger
  3. Collaborate with other departments to improve KPI reporting
  4. Participate in internal and external meetings, including taking minutes
  5. Develop QEHS knowledge and skills
  6. Support areas such as portfolio management, KPI analysis, incident investigations, campaigns, workshops, documentation, and root cause analysis
  7. Assist the QEHS Manager and team as needed
Key Responsibilities

  • Promote good QEHS practices
  • Support client relationships
  • Ensure compliance with EHS legislation and industry standards
  • Assist operational staff in QEHS matters
  • Implement QEHS policies and procedures effectively
Qualifications and Skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform and Office Suites

Desirable but not essential:

  • Knowledge of QEHS systems
  • Experience in Rail, Metro, or Road environments
