Job description

SRG is recruiting for a QC Team Leader to join a pharmaceutical company based in Cambridgeshire. You will be responsible for leading a QC team, ensuring the accurate and timely testing of pharmaceutical products.

Working Hours: Monday - Thursday 08:00 - 16:30, Friday 08:00 - 15:00

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead and manage the QC team, ensuring testing objectives and targets are met.
2. Maintain QC systems and processes, reviewing and supporting ongoing improvement activities.
3. Ensure Quality, Health, Safety & Environmental standards are maintained, supporting larger QMS activities.
4. Provide training and lead the ongoing development of team members.

What We're Looking For:

1. A degree or higher qualification in a relevant science discipline.
2. Excellent knowledge of analytical techniques such as HPLC, GC, FTIR, UV, PXRD, DSC.
3. Proven experience managing a QC team in a GMP environment.
4. Experience with pharmaceutical QC processes, including sample management, stability management, reference and retain samples management.
5. Strong understanding of analytical method validation and transfer principles.
