Job summary

STADA UK Thornton & Ross in Huddersfield is offering a 12-month full-time Quality Control placement for a 2nd-year science student. You will gain hands-on experience in a GMP lab, testing raw materials and finished products using HPLC and wet chemistry techniques to support product safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Currently studying a science-related degree.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills to engage stakeholders.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Attention to detail and creativity.
• Strong IT skills with Microsoft Office.
• Excellent time management and prioritisation.
• Precise and accurate analytical testing technique.
• High integrity and flexible approach.

Responsibilities

• Test samples in a timely manner to support KPIs.
• Use pharmacopoeia methods including HPLC, titration, UV, IR, gravimetric analysis.
• Interpret data and complete analytical records per GMP.
• Assess results for out of specification and raise LIRs when required.
• Assist with Phase 1 and Phase 2 investigations.
• Work in rotational day shifts: Mon-Thu 0600-1336/1330-2200; Fri 0600-1336/1330-1730.
