BYLOR is seeking a Quality Control Inspector (Welding) to support the Quality Manager at the HPC project in Somerset. Responsibilities include dimensional, visual, penetrant, MPI and UT/PAUT testing, with thorough inspection reporting and strict adherence to procedures.
Active candidates will have CSWIP 3.1 Visual and PCN L2 NDT qualifications; welding experience and understanding of ITPs are highly valued. This is a site-based role with safety-critical duties.

To support the Quality Manager (PTLS SSW) in overseeing the implementation of the quality management arrangements, measuring its effectiveness, and supporting the improvement projects required to optimise effective quality arrangements.
Summary of job description:
Inspectors are expected to complete Reports thoroughly and competently ensuring all requirements are met. Industry standards are to be always followed ensuring the final quality of the product.
From time-to-time Inspectors will have to enter confined spaces wearing RPE masks & associated PPE and maybe required to work at height using harness's and associated equipment.
